The Undergraduate Conference on Gender and the Body will take place on Saturday, April 2, from 9am until 7pm. It will include panels throughout the day where undergraduate students from Pitt and around the region will showcase their work. Leading gender theorist Kate Bornstein will be the keynote speaker. The panels will explore subjects of ongoing scholarly and popular dialogue and debate, such as security and violence, gender and sexual expression, race and ethnicity, reproductive  justice, transgender rights, media, and performativity. Undergraduates are also warmly invited to attend faculty panels on Friday.
